Tourist Family (2025)

Today, I had the absolute privilege of watching Tourist Family, and my heart is still reeling from the beauty of this cinematic masterpiece! This movie isn’t just a film, it’s a celebration of life, love, and the little moments that make a family truly special. I feel so lucky to have witnessed this incredible family come to life on screen, and I’m sure anyone who watches it will feel the same way. From the very first frame, Tourist Family weaves a tapestry of small, beautiful moments that draw you into the lives of its characters. Each scene is crafted with such care, revealing the essence of every family member, their joys, their struggles, their dreams, and even their quirks. You don’t just watch them, you feel them. Their pain, their purpose, their wishes, their likes, and dislikes everything unfolds so naturally, and every detail has a reason. It’s like the director handed us a magnifying glass to see the soul of this family, and I couldn’t look away.
At the heart of the story is the youngest son, and oh, what a star he is! This kid carries the entire film with his innocent charm and quiet strength. From the beginning, you can see him admiring everyone around him, soaking in their love and lessons. There were moments where I felt he deliberately underplayed his role, almost as if he was stepping back to let Sasikumar and Simran shine. What a kind-hearted soul! His performance is so pure, it’s impossible not to fall in love with him. I found myself cheering for him in every scene, and I bet you will too!
Like any real family, this one has its share of arguments and disagreements, but the way they resolve them is nothing short of magical. Every conflict ends with the cutest, most heart-warming resolutions that leave you smiling ear to ear. It’s so relatable, reminding us of our own families and the love that holds us together despite the chaos. As the story deepens, you become one with the people on their street, rooting for this family as if they were your own. This is where the director wins, hitting us with a revelation that ties us even closer to their journey. It’s a moment that shakes you and makes you love this family even more. Like everyone in that street we also started supporting this family. Like their neighbours, we also shocked for them. This is where the director won.
Everyone started liking Sasikumar in this movie. Who am I to dislike him? He is one of us! Tourist Family is a film that makes you feel like you’re part of something bigger, a story that celebrates the beauty of family, connection, and the unexpected twists that shape us. I walked out of the theatre with a heart full of warmth and gratitude.
If you haven’t seen it yet, do yourself a favour and watch it soon! 🎬
